It's worthless torrenting over tor, you are better off buying mullvad or other vpn that accepts xmr and no personal info.

BTW you can make I2P torrents with the same hash as clearnet torrents. You symlink the data and copy the clearnet torrent file into I2PSnarks data directory. I2PSnarks will use that torrent but ignore any non-I2P trackers. Then you can use the edit torrent option to add I2P trackers, but you don't even need to do that: Thanks to DHT, peers are usually found anyway. The torrent magnet hash will remain the same.

It does actually. It creates a sparse file. It shows with the whole file size but it's filled with zeroes and file systems are smart enough to not store all that on disk. Size on disk is actually zero.
I had the same question as you, and just like you tried the alternative clients but they suck. I was digging through the code of I2PSnarks trying to see if I can add it myself until I found it creates a sparse file.
